Master Sergeant, United States Air Force (Ret) — 1998 to 2019. Eight years active duty, thirteen with the Idaho Air National Guard out of Mountain Home. Now full-time at Keller Williams Realty Boise.
I didn't come to real estate from a corporate training track. I came to it because every time a friend from the service moved to the Treasure Valley, I ended up being the one they called — for an honest walk-through of the buying process, the VA-friendly lender intro, the questions to ask before signing.
I enlisted in the Air Force at 18 from Illinois into the PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) career field. After training I spent 3 years in Germany, then PCS'd to Mountain Home AFB in 2002. In 2006 I cross-trained to Ground Radar and went Active Guard for 13 years with the Range Squadron at Mountain Home, where I retired as Master Sergeant in 2019 — 8 years active duty, 13 years Active Guard with the Idaho Air National Guard, 21 years in uniform total. Real estate has been the second act — same straight-talk, same focus on the buying process. I work with Veterans, Guard and Reserve Members, Active-Duty Military, and the families who move with them, across the Treasure Valley.

Three things you should expect from any Realtor working with military clients — and three places I won't cut corners.
Entitlement math, funding fee waivers, appraisal quirks. I run this every week, not "willing to learn."
Virtual tours, remote closings, rental bridges, and honest advice when the timeline is the enemy.

No translation required. You'll talk to someone who has stood in the same boots you're standing in now.
The military taught me that the worst thing you can do for someone in a stressful moment is dress up bad news in a smile. People remember the agent who told them the truth, and they remember the one who told them what they wanted to hear. I'd rather be the first.
That means I'll point you at the official school district boundary lookup tools so you can verify which schools a specific address feeds into. I'll explain the difference between a VA appraisal and a conventional one. And I'll tell you when an appraisal is at risk of coming in low before we waste two weeks waiting for it.
I'll also point you to the things that are easy to miss when you're trying to close a house from across the world — the local commute-traffic patterns to Mountain Home AFB and Gowen Field, the school-district address-lookup tools so you can verify boundaries yourself, and which lender on my short list will actually pick up the phone on a drill weekend.
If you served, you already know the cadence I work in. If you haven't, you're about to meet a Realtor who runs at PCS pace by default. Either way — welcome.
Funding-fee changes, entitlement updates, COE process tips — plus what I'm seeing across the Valley each month. Sent monthly. No fluff, no autoresponder chain.
